Indonesia (インドネシア, Indonesia ) is a supporting character in the series Hetalia World✰Stars.
Appearance[]
Indonesia has a black/dark-brown long side fringe hair and golden eyes. He wears a short-sleeved khaki Indonesian police uniform with a Moon Orchid in his left pocket, dark brown pants, and white gloves.
Indonesia is also seen to wear sunglasses, black tank top, green knee-length pants, and shoes.
Personality and Interests[]
Indonesia is described to be friendly and often says, "where are you going?" as a start of conversation. He is seen to be a casual person who is not used to formal situation.
Indonesia thinks dark places are scary because ghosts might appear there.
Indonesia likes sweets just like the other ASEAN countries.
He is also described that even if there are things or situations that he thinks is unpleasant, he often says "tidak apa-apa!"/"Gakpapa kok!" (it's okay!)

Indonesia was first seen in chapter 371 of Hetalia: World Stars where he is attending a meeting alongside his fellow Southeast Asian nations.
In chapter 373, Indonesia is nominated by Thailand to give the opening address of the ASEAN meeting on the merit of his spectacular economic growth. Indonesia makes an awkward speech due to not being used to formal situations, and after being prompted with questions, Indonesia reveals that the secret to his successful growth was by rewarding himself, and that he had done so by buying a motorbike. He shows everyone a picture of his motorbike on his phone, which has a cracked screen. However, he says that it's fine since he can still use it; he'll eventually upgrade his phone and he would rather spend his money on a motorbike.

Indonesia's design debuted in an artwork by Hidekaz Himaruya in the Comic Market 45th Anniversary Book, which was published in December 2020. Indonesia was featured alongside Philippines and Thailand, and the artwork was teased on Himaruya's twitter prior to publicaton, except that everyone apart from Philippines had their faces hidden under pleading emojis.

- Despite making his manga debut in chapter 371 of Hetalia World Stars, he was not identified as Indonesia until a chapter later, in chapter 372.
- The flower on his left pocket is one of the three national flowers of Indonesia (White Jasmine, Moon Orchid, and Corpse Lily). The Moon Orchid is symbolized as "Puspa Pesona" (flower of charm).
- Years before his final design got released, Himaruya created a sketch of a person with an Indonesian flag and a note saying "I've received a lot of request from Indonesian fans to draw Indonesia-san. I see Indonesia as a strong-willed person. Indonesian are cheerful but also shy at some point; i feel like there are a many Indonesian who are good at finding places with delicious food. However, Himaruya had revealed that the sketch was not a design for Indonesia, but of a person he had met there, this has caused a misunderstanding among the fans for a long time.
